Dr Robbert van Haselen

Robbert van Haselen is Director of the International Institute for Integrated Medicine (INTMEDI) and the World Integrated Medicine Forum. He was born in the Netherlands, qualified in Health Sciences and Naturopathic medicine and worked in private practice for eight years. 

He worked as Head of Research for VSM, (a Dutch homeopathic company) from 1990 to 1995 and as Head of R&D for Heel (a German homeopathic company) from 2006 to 2011.

From 1995 to 2005, he worked at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital as Deputy Director of Research. 

He founded the International Institute for Integrated Medicine (INTMEDI) in 2004.

He was Editor-in-Chief of the journal ‘Complementary Therapies in Medicine’ from 2004 to 2015 and turned it into one of the world’s leading peer reviewed Traditional, Complementary and Integrated Medicine (TCIM) journals (2015 Impact Factor: 1.94).

He runs a project that aims to foster ‘critical thinking’ in both research and education, including how this can be applied to improving the quality of clinical case reports.

He is a member of the HPCUS since 2009 and chair of the Clinical Data Committee since 2013. He is involved in the development of guidelines for provings and clinical data.

He founded the World Integrated Medicine Forum in 2016, which organised two international Forums on the regulation of homeopathic medicinal products, in collaboration with the Indian Ministry of AYUSH (in 2017 and 2019). 

Apart from this he works as an independent consultant for both the public and private TCIM sector.
